I am learning to paint in the Chinese style because I am an artistic, yet impatient, person, and I knew I needed to find a form of artistic expression that didn't take too much time to dry (like oil painting) or need multiple days of labor to create (like knitting, one of my other hobbies). I have long admired the aesthetics of Asian painting, so I have decided to learn how to paint watercolor in the Chinese style.
